Fitted wardrobes are definitely one of those things that we’d all love to have in our bedroom. They’re stylish, neat and overall space saving but we often tell ourselves that we don’t need one, letting our storage troubles get the better of us. I can’t be the only one to avoid getting that new coat or pair of shoes because you know you just don’t have the space. Well, what if I told you you could? What if you found that coat and knew exactly where you’d display it in your wardrobe, or you had the perfect spot for those new shoes!

Utilise your wasted space!

But does a fitted wardrobe really make that much of a difference?  Does it really give you that much more space? Well the answer is yes! Having a wardrobe that fits perfectly into your space allows you to utilize all that space you would have previously lost. That corner that you could never get a wardrobe to fit in, or that wall that seemed too short for anything you could find could all be filled with storage space. This also means no more climbing on top of things to reach above the wardrobe to grab the boxes you’ve hidden on top of it, only to realise just how dusty they’ve become.

Layouts to suit your needs

Another fantastic thing about fitted wardrobes is that they can be designed to suit your needs. For instance, if you wear a lot of long dresses you’ll probably want a place for them to hang so the bottom of them doesn’t get all crumpled, or perhaps your extensive shoe collection needs extra space. Everything can be personalised to your needs meaning not only do you have extra space, but that space is tailored to the type of storage that you need, giving your more room and more convenience.

The ‘WOW’ factor

Style is of course another great aspect of fitted wardrobes. By having them fitted they fill out your room, making it look more neat and tidy. It’s also a great way to add a wow feature to your bedroom, adding some true value to your space. After all, everyone is looking for more storage in a property and even if your not planning on keeping this your forever home there is no harm in making prospective buyers love your space as much as you do!

Customise your room

The last thing that I absolutely adore about fitted wardrobes is that they have the option to be customised to fit the theme of your room. The colours and layout are up to you, which is the perfect excuse to dress your room how you’ve always wanted!

All in all

All in all fitted wardrobes are more than just a piece of furniture. They’re a room feature that not only gives you more storage space, but also helps your organise your clothes in a more methodical way that suits you.
